Baked Pork Chops
Ingredients:
- 2 tablespoons paprika
- 1 tablespoon salt
- 1 tablespoon black pepper
- 1 tablespoon garlic powder
- 1 tablespoon onion powder
- 2 teaspoons cayenne pepper
- 1 teaspoon vinegar
- 6 pork chops
Directions:
Step 1
Preheat the oven to 450 degrees F (230 degrees C).
Step 2
Mix paprika, sugar, salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, Vinegar and cayenne pepper together in a wide, shallow bowl.
Step 3
Trim excess fat, Dredge pork chops in the spice mixture to coat and arrange on a baking sheet.
Step 4
Bake chops in preheated oven until no longer pink in the center, about 20 minutes. An instant-read thermometer inserted into the center should read 145 degrees F (63 degrees C).
Wet Fry Pork
Ingredients:
- 1 kg pork, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 1 tablespoon salt
- 1 tablespoon black pepper
- 1 tablespoon garlic powder or ½ garlic, minced
- 2 red onions, chopped
- 1 white onion, chopped
- 2 tomatoes, diced
- 2 bell peppers (1 red, 1 green), sliced
- 1 bunch of coriander, chopped
Directions:
Step 1
Heat a pan over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the pork pieces. Cook, stirring occasionally, until the pork turns golden brown.
Step 2
Add the salt and black pepper to the pan. Stir well to evenly coat the pork with the seasonings.
Step 4
Add the chopped red onions, white onion, and garlic (or garlic powder) to the pan. Mix well and let it cook until the onions become soft and translucent.
Step 5
Add the diced tomatoes to the pan. Cover the pan and let it cook for about 5 minutes, allowing the tomatoes to soften and blend with the other ingredients.
Step 6
Add the sliced bell peppers and chopped coriander to the pan. Mix well and let it cook for an additional 3 minutes, allowing the flavors to combine and the bell peppers to remain slightly crisp.
Best Servered with Ugali, Rice or Cahpati
Home made Pork Choma
Ingredients:
- 2 tablespoon salt
- aluminium foil
- a Grill
- 2 Cans of Charcoal
- 2 Kgs of Pork
Directions:
Step 1
marinate the meat with salt and wrap with foil
Step 2
let the charcoal burn till they are evenly burnt. place your grill
Step 3
Place the wrapped meat on the grill and let it cook for 30min
Step 4
unwrap the meat and grill, wait for it to turn golden brown and crunchy
